Great news for John fans - he'll be touring with Stars on Ice this fall! Tour dates are expected to be announced at the end of the month. John's also off to Russia to compete in the Russian Skating with the Stars on Channel 2. As a result, he'll no longer be at the Holiday Celebration on Ice in las Vegas.
Michael Weiss Foundation Review: With the semi-retirement of partner Kyoko this season, John has taken the bold step of going out as a solo performer. This was his second outing and he says it was a bit nerve wracking to look over and not see his partner when stepping onto the ice. But he had no need to worry as his performance was electrifiying. Skating to "I'm Gonna Crawl" by Led Zepplin, John gave us a fascinating routine. On the pure technical side he landed a double axel and then singled another later on as well as a camel-change-camel spin and a camel-sit combination. But it was the in betweens that really shone with all kinds of interesting footwork, lunges and body movements. Black pants and a black t-shirt for costuming. The program was choreographed by John and wife Silvia.
