Park City High School is looking for parent volunteers to serve on the School Community Council from 2019-2021.

Serving on our School Community Council (SCC) is a wonderful way for parents and teachers to contribute and help improve academic performance at our school. The school receives an annual dividend from the school trust lands. Our council decides how these funds will be used.  This year our school received $187.872 from the School LAND Trust Program. The council reviews and prepares other academic plans for our students each year.  All plans are reviewed for final approval by our school board. Councils also act in an advisory capacity to school and school district administrations. Every public school in Utah has a School Community Council.  The councils are made up of elected school employees and parents of students attending the school. Membership terms are for two years.  Elections, if more than three candidates are held at the beginning of each school year.

Parent members must have a student attending the school at least one of the two years of their term of service.  For more information please visit www.schoollandtrust.org. If you are interested, please fill out an SCC Candidate Form and include a photo and Biography of why you would be a good candidate. You may also contact Barb Swenson at [email protected] for additional information.

PCHS is now pre-enrolling NEW students for the 2019-20 school year (for students not currently enrolled in the district).  For an enrollment packet and instructions, see the New Student Enrollment page.  The deadline to pre-enroll is May 31. After May 31st, new enrollments must wait until August. NOTE: TMJH 9th graders are automatically transferred to PCHS for 10th grade–they do not need to be re-enrolled.

Parents and Guardians – You will receive information on how to create your own parent PowerSchool (grades and attendance) and Canvas accounts in your student’s back-to-school registration packet.  With this information, you can create your own usernames and passwords and link all your district students to your parent account in each system.  Parents in separate households can each create their own accounts.  (If you set up a Parent Account previously, you can continue using it; you don’t need to create a new one.)  To use the PowerSchool Mobile App (with push notifications), our district code is GFGM.
